Lark Pien (born c. ) is an American cartoonist who has created the minicomics Stories from the Ward, Mr. Boombha, and Long Tail Kitty, the last of which won her the Friends of Lulu Kimberly Yale Award for Best New Talent in Pien earned her Bachelor of Architecture in from California Polytechnic State University. Lark Pien worked as an architectural designer before she turned to drawing her acclaimed comics full time. She has been a resident artist at San Francisco's Cartoon Art Museum and Asian Art Museum, as well as the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, California.
